After coming off that wrist surgery that plagued his 2015 season being healthy in 2016 showed a return to form that made him one of the best in the league.

Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
I'd give consideration to Robertson, Stupar, Cadet, and Snead IV...
But my unsung hero would be Tyeler Davison... He tore his pectoral muscle in Week 2, missed only Week 3 against the Falcons; and boy oh boy, was he missed... Then, finished playing till the end of the season and no defender had a bigger impact than Davison... Our run defense was drastically improved from past seasons due to TD, who's only now having surgery to repair his torn pectoral muscle... Tyeler Davison is who I'd put up as our unsung hero... |

I look forward to watching Tyeler down in the trenches for 2017. |
Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
of all the band-aids in the secondary, Webb held his own, Sideshow Bob haircut and all

He should be the priority among our FA to re-sign... |

Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
Jahri Evans is one of the alltime best Saints IMHO
|
Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
Wonder if he ever sold his house....Or if he just moved back in....

Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
Jahri definitely surpassed expectations this year. Can he do it again in 2017?
I'm pessimistic. OG is definitely an area of major concern. |
Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
I have to go with Sterling Moore on this one. He wasn't great but I absolutely shudder to think just how bad our secondary would've been without him.

My front runner for 2017 MVP is whomever convinced (forced) SP to fire his dead weight, buddy, assistant coaches.
I wonder how much SP coughed up out of his own pocket to hush those dudes up. |

Re: Unsung Heroes For Each NFC Team
For the O I would have to go with Peat. Payton had him on a merry-go-round in preseason and he settled in well at LG and when Armstead go hurt he played well at LT, not bad to be put through the ringer. I haved to give my unsong hero award to him.

Just think if we sign someone like a RG Kevin Zeitler or LG Andrew Norwell to Armstead-Peat-Unger-Strief, that would be an unfreakingbelievable offensive line, and every bit and more of the Cowboys vaunted line... AND, we have Drew Brees behind it! |

We're talking LEGENDARY with one or both of those guards mentioned... And, who knows, Jimmy may be coming home... |

[quote=jeanpierre;734102]Peat is another one who caught hell in preseason and really solidified the left side of the offensive line...

I really hope we leave Peat at LG and invest that money somewhere else. But I'm willing to pay top dollar for Zeitler who would solidify the O-line. Quote:
