I'm not turning on the saints, but I am definitely looking at following a second team again. And I am more enlightened on the signature of this team's shortcomings. But I will have a problem watching NFL period if Atlanta wins.

At the time I was pissed with the comments on the falcons game thread. Someone not wanting to blame the offense for some of the losses last season and that Brees can't "win them all" sent me over the edge. Other posts as well crawled under my skin that night.

That said I am not sure where I stand with SP. It's distasteful to miss the playoffs for three straight years and leave the offensive line lingering with problems in the last four years.

UNRELATED STORY:

A while back I told my blonde wife that she didn't have to vote for President since Trump
was going to win Louisiana in a land slide anyway.
For Trump's inauguration day, I took her out for breakfast at McDonald's.

The line was rather long and we had 3 black women and 3 spanish woman in front of us with children.
So I said in a very loud voice, "Since it is Trump's inauguration day, everybody who didn't vote for
Trump please get out of line for those of us who did."

My wife was the only one who got out of line and told me she knew the polls were wrong....
Well... 1 out of 3 is the best I could ever ask for. :cool:

I guess it may be time for me to turn on the saints. But what's really gonna turn me against them is the fact that I cannot co-exist with fans who want what cannot happenL a 200 yard limiting defense that is suffocating. And because of that, I may just need to move on maybe just quit the NFL altogether but my fantasy league keeps me from doing that. But if it's hard I may have no choice.

I do believe my time as a saints fan has wore its welcome.

I was Brees first fan not a saints first fan. The number one reason for watching the saints is offense and the fans can't see it's lacking.

As I said I held this team to a higher standing than the mavericks because of having a top QB.

Why the f*ck do we have threads about opinions on fans and not the Saints?

I'm also Red Sox fan and one of the best fan sites for Red Sox is Sons of Sam Horn; it's managed so tightly that not any assh@t that joins can even start a thread or troll...

Pretty smart guys and gals post there that at least have put some logical thought even though the members differ on the resultant opinions, personnel moves...

Don't care for personal attacks on other people here on their level of fandom for the Saints...

Now I've given as good as I've gotten in those rare situations where some troll checked me personally just because I don't care for a player or a management move...

BUT I sure as h*ll don't understand why we have threads about what someone's status is as a fan; if you need attention, work hard, save money, build a nice nest...

And then engage into a contract with a woman from Asiangirls.com or RussianWifey.net with a prenup clause to protect your assets and she only stays as long as she loves you long time...

That should give you all the positive reinforcement that you need...

Will, I meant to ask you this... Did you used to post here under the name teddybarexxx? He was pretty similar to you in the way that he was so insistent on the offense needing improvement regardless of how well they were playing.

No I am not him and I was one of the ones against him. However, he was right about the offense that year. And he got banned at a time the defense was actually playing better(weeks 6 and 7) in 2015.

Yes I did read your post. I also mentioned that you need to say something positive occasionally if you want to be considered a fan. Apparently you don't like anything about the Saints. I certainly don't see anything that would make me believe that you are a real fan who likes his team.

I almost never come down on a poster. But I am, quite frankly, tired of your negativity. I am not happy with the results the last few years but I never bad mouth my team. I love the Saints. If you want to continue to post here and berate my team then please understand where I am coming from and be prepared to defend your opinions.

You keep saying that you are done as a fan. Keep your word and move along. There is nothing here for you. I was sincere when I said that the Raiders were a good team and would welcome a new member to the Raiders nation. Just say something positive once in a while or at least criticize your new team less than the Saints. If you pick a winner then you'll have less to complain about. :razz:

Edit: I went back and read your post again and I feel your pain. I understand you are disappointed. I get it. Just try to tone down the negativity and hope for a good off season that will turn the team around. I don't care if you want to back another team too.....just remember that I bleed black and gold and will always rise to defend my beloved Saints if you are critical of them.

However, every fan has the right to talk about their teams short comings and should not be judged on their comments alone. Who Dat! :bng:

No. That is not what I said. Everything has pretty much dyed down since week 17. And Atlanta makes you realize beating the division at their game is most important.

Hey Bree's pissed me off more than just 2to3 times this year but by no means am I giving up ball for his actions I love the pels but can't take their losing ass but I'm not hanging up the converses now I will turn the bowl off if clowns get crowed
