Re: To all The Falcon Fans
I have to say one thing on the behalf of the failclowns - comparing Ryan's post-game interviews with Newton's from last year... there's clearly a classier guy with leadership capabilities on the dirty bird side.
But yeah, suck it Atlanta! :bng: Sent from my FRD-L19 using Tapatalk |

4th quarter meltdown. I loved it.

Re: To all The Falcon Fans
Damn that must hurt. you lost that game and there is no one else to blame.

Re: To all The Falcon Fans
Oh how their boards are imploding. All the people trying to sell the skin before the bear was shot.
I am almost more happy about Atlanta losing than I was when we won. Back then it was more relief than happiness. |

channeled Mike Smith there. 3 runs regardless of the outcome and then you kick. |

And Quinn may again have been the longest yard away from beating the Patriots when he decided to have Matt Ryan pass on third-and-1 at his 36 with a 28-12 lead midway through the fourth quarter. Ryan was sacked by Dont’a Hightower and fumbled the ball away to Alan Branch and opened the door to history to Tom Brady. |

Re: To all The Falcon Fans
It's probably gonna be really difficult for Atlanta fans to "RISE UP" out of bed this morning and that first cup of coffee is gonna taste bitter.
Extremely bitter :annoy: . |
Re: To all The Falcon Fans
Well we certainly know how they feel... no wait, we don't!

Re: To all The Falcon Fans
It's a cold, harsh world for the dirty birds...

Re: To all The Falcon Fans
The best example ever of the need to play four quarters. ATL played fast and furious for the first two while the Pats played a ball control passing game for all four.
In the first half the Pats kept shooting themselves in the foot. Then ATL wrestled the pistol away from the Pats. Midway through the 3rd you could see that ATL's D was getting winded. Then came Ryan's sack/fumble and ATL's three and punt following Julio's catch. It was time to stick a fork in the Dirty Birds, they were done. Considering the score, the time of possession speaks volumes. NE - 40:31 ATL - 23:27 Damn, I loved that game. I had hoped that the Pats would wipe the field with them and win in a lopsided victory. This was so much better. The Falcon's, like the phoenix had risen from the ashes only to go down in flames once again. |
Re: To all The Falcon Fans
I wonder what the guy that copied the Seattle fan and got a Superbowl champion tattoo is feeling like today. He has a tattoo of the biggest Superbowl meltdown ever and the first OT loss ever....

Can't believe no one mentioned my favorite...
What does a Falcons player do after he wins the Superbowl? He turns off his Xbox and goes to bed. |

Re: To all The Falcon Fans
Honestly regardless of how that game looked.
The Patriots were the better team anyway, they just never played like it until the 4th qtr which is where the Falcons have had problems all year. Falcons backed into that SB because the NFC is really inconsistent right now. |
