I don't have any idea who this guy is, but he better be able to do more than tell guys "keep your pads level, rah rah, smash mouth, rah rah, hand placement, rah rah football jargon."

Those guys are a dime a dozen, and they are what we've had for years, judging from the lack of development on the defensive side, save for the rare gem we get once in a blue moon.

I went to the NC State/Vandy Independence Bowl game and State's defensive line dominated the whole game. They got five sacks and kept blowing up the offense all game long. They also forced three picks.

Yes, so far we've done real well...

Looks like we scored with two more Canadiens not named "Lisa"... ;)

Definitely like our defensive assistant additions on defense...

Kuhn is still a Kuhnass...

And we have 35+ million in a weak FA market, could add more with some restructures to extend some key players...

In less than a month we'll know what the Saints added via Free Agency...

And it looks like ownership is settled for now, while Benson lives...

I didn't realize it was weak FA market. I thought that there were several good corners, DE's, and guards available who would fit nicely here. I would be happy with any of the top three or four FA's at any of our positions of need. We must upgrade our defensive talent and we need to do it now. I believe that we should bring in a couple of high priced impact players at DE and corner along with mid tier players with starting experience to fill in the gaps.

Last year was the year for FA Defensive Ends, Pass Rushers...

Chandler Jones is all but staying in Arizona after listening to an interview with Bruce Arians...

That leaves Melvin Ingram; but how much do you pay for his services...

They're three cornerbacks worth signing, but not at an inflated market price...

Making a strong push, no, getting a Saints contract done for RG Kevin Zeitler should be the line in the sand for the Front Office...
