We mentioned here last week that Saints director of player personnel Rick Mueller might be getting a promotion. Mueller, the younger brother of fired Saints GM Randy Mueller, has a good working relationship with Saints coach Jim Haslett and Mickey Loomis, the team's general manager of football operations. Mueller is viewed as one of the rising personnel guys in the league, and the Saints would be wise to make sure they keep him. With six picks in the first three rounds of this year's draft, plus money to spend in free agency, Mueller will be even busier this spring.
