Well, I finally got to my first off-season project yesterday ... a front plate for my wife's car.

The hardest part of the whole thing is finding the letters. I finally found a guy that had them pre-cut at an antique show for $3 a piece. I then just riveted the pieces to an un-embossed (flat) plate.

Now that I'm retired I have become very artsy fartsy. LOL

Edit: Actually, I didn't like the "O" that I had bought and found a Texas plate with an "O" that my wife liked better and cut it out.

If you have any other "projects" that require a TEXAS tag, let me know. I have a few (including a few motorcycle tags) hanging around the garage in mint condition.

I may need to swing by and visit the next time we go picking in that area. The un-embossed back plate was a Texas tag.
