I was saying this in JP's Roster Outlook thread... DE looks pitiful at the moment. There's nothing left on the market starter-wise so we're really gonna have to nail it in the draft.

Jabaal Sheard, Donta Hightower, or both would make the draft icing on the cake. That would convince me.

Luckily the draft is loaded with DE's and DB's. We could probably take a couple of each, especially if we get another first round pick. I personally don't see DB as being a big need. I'm banking on our starters actually being healthy this year of course, but the secondary looks to be in decent shape. I'd like to see them take a DE early as a potential starter, then take another one in the middle rounds for some added depth and competition.

We have got to add a DE, a couple cb's and a safety imo. CB and Safety looks REALLLLY bad.

That roster is pretty pitiful if you ask me there isnt one posrion that i wouldn't be reying to add too . The only position i think is ok but still need at least one more quailty guy is DT but everywhere else could use multiple guys to improve one guy isnt going to be enough.

good post. There are a lot of well ifs on our roster. Well if he is healthy. Well if he plays like last season. Well if he is what we think he is. Well if he makes big gains from year 1. Well if we add in the draft (which is never meant to be a fix that season, but okay).

People are doing what we all fall for each year, offseason/preseason hype. I will wait till we win some games and look consistent and good doing it.

You cant blame people for getting excited and having hope.
If you dont have hope now you may aswell back it up and become a fan of the Browns or 49ers.


Imagine waking up today and instead of Klein,Ginn,Fairley and Warford you have to look forward to paying Goodwin,Hoyer,Juszczyk,Kerely and Garcon 28ml a year between them

I don't understand this concept, if a fan doesn't agree with you then they should become a fan of another team. Nah, don't think so. I have fallen for it too many times and all we have fielded is 7-9. I choose to keep my excitement contained until I see something on the field.

I don't think anyone was blamed for their feelings in any way. I think I said people are falling for what we all for each year. Doesn't sound like blame to me
