Re: Brandin Cooks Officially Traded to Patriots
Devery Henderson dropped his share of balls before Curtis Johnson taught him how to do a better job of receiving.I think Ginn will be alright as CJ's newest "project". I think think of him more as a punt returner for the Saints anyway.
A malcontent is a malcontent. Cooks bugged the crap out of me when he complained about not being more involved after the team won games. After some consideration, I like this trade. No big contract for the soon to be 5'9" second fiddle and five picks in the first three rounds in this year's draft. |

Re: Brandin Cooks Officially Traded to Patriots
The Saints were not paying Cooks after his rookie deal. It makes sense to move him. If thats what they have accepted i think it shows teams were not willing to shell out big for him
Teams have seen Saints WR fall flat outside of New Orleans and his size means he needs an accurate QB. He will do well in NE but if he doesn't get the ball and starts whinging he will gind himself in Cleveland or Buffalo pretty quick |

Re: Brandin Cooks Officially Traded to Patriots
WTF did we not get Butler in the deal? This deal is basically just losing a receiver and getting a pick where we have no chance to get anything of value really. What's the difference between a third rounder and fourth rounder?
