If the Saints say they won't trade #11, but haven't mentioned #32, then it stands to reason that if they can't come together on a deal for a player the Saints clearly covet (for whatever reasons), then the Patriots are likely trying to get that #11 pick. If they can't get that, then you can bet they will be asking for the Saints to pony up on extra picks, either in this draft or next year's. Neither of those things would be wise for a short cornerback who has succedeed only for a short period of time on a team that is notorious for making average players look like stars, in my humble opinion. It's why the Pats are always so willing to trade guys away. They know they don't need them.![]()
How any NFL team can still fall for this same trick by the Patriots, is beyond me. Learn a lesson, and stay away from the Patriots. |
