My darkhorse is still DE/DT Malik McDowell, Michigan State, 6' 6", 295 lbs., who's rising late in rankings...
Really like that he could play DE in the base and move in like Cam in nickel and dime packages... He's only twenty years old and think he'd be great paired up with our new DL Coach Ryan Nielsen... Now reported he was frustrated with his role this past year having to play NT with no one around him... He physically tested real well and he's got great size, length and 35" arms to control, jam offensive linemen... Reminds me alot of a young Cam Jordan who'll be a late first rounder many teams will regret passing on... |
