Cornerback B.W. Webb signs free-agent deal with Chicago Bears

Another New Orleans Saints unrestricted free agent has a new team.

Cornerback B.W. Webb signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears, the team announced Wednesday night on Twitter.

Before signing with Chicago, Webb had a busy week on free-agents visits with the Buffalo Bills on Monday and the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday.

The 5-11, 190-pound Webb spent the 2016 season with the Saints after signing a one-year deal in Week 2 of the 2016 season, and went to appear in 14 games with seven starts.

He totaled 27 tackles (24 solo), an interception and 11 passes defensed in a Saints uniform.

Webb joins his fifth team since entering the league in 2013 out of William & Mary as a fourth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys.

He previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers (2014), Tennessee Titans (2015) and Saints.
