Tom Benson buys Cadillac of New Orleans in Metairie
New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson has purchased Cadillac of New Orleans in Metairie. The deal expands the billionaire's auto holdings in the greater New Orleans area to three dealerships.
The property at 3100 Lime St. is the sole Cadillac dealership south of Lake Pontchartrain, serving New Orleans and the surrounding region. It sells both new and pre-owned Cadillacs in addition to running a full service department, according to a news release.  In the release, Benson called Cadillac "the true gold standard in the automotive world." Benson also owns Best Chevrolet in Kenner and Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie.
