Peterson tidbit
According to a poster on SR, a source told him that AP "felt at home at New Orleans".

Proof? And no I'm not going to look on SR

Re: Peterson tidbit
Just because we see Ingram as a starter does not mean the FO does. Peterson will make a difference against some of the teams Ingram has not. When Ingram ran well, did he run well against tough run defenses Detroit and TB(in TB) down the stretch? AP shreds Detroit every time and we need AP for those kind of games with disruptive pass rushers that rattle Brees.

Re: Peterson tidbit
Ingram is 27 and will be a FA in 2019 at the rip old age of 29.
Time to start saving him. enter Peterson Time to start looking for a replacement. enter Mixon Ingram Peterson Mixon and McCaffrey would be an issue of getting touches I could live with. 2019 - Mixon and McCaffrey take over |

to really open this offense up and be the #1 offense again. We can replace Ingram in 2019... until then... let the mule go blind. http://tnvalleytalks.hoop.la/fileSen...e/Mad-Mule.jpg |

Re: Peterson tidbit
I watch HLN with Robin Meade in the morning! Morning sunshine! :p
I like McCaffrey better than AP in the long run since Ingram just put up 1,000 yards. He's the perfect toy for Payton to utilize in his offense. He could be the Sproles or Reggie Bush that keeps defenses on their heels. |

But if all the defensive OLB/CB/DE studs are gone at 11, I'd be fine with McCaffrey or even OJ Howard at 11. I wish there was a way to guarantee we could get some great defensive help at 32 or 42, which in my opinion would justify McCaffrey at 11. Its a freakishly deep draft for defense, so why not wait until round 2-5 for defense if an offensive impact player worthy of a top 10 pick is there at 11? |

If we pass up a stud CB/OLB/DE still on the board for a joystick RB, the Saint's nation is gonna be rightfully pissed. But it may turn out that all of those CB/OLB/DE studs will be off the board. If so no one should complain about McCaffrey or even Howard. I'm even warming up to Fournette at 11 if that happens. Regardless, I'm sure there will be numerous wanna be GM's blasting whoever we pick. |
