Webb very much reminds me of our very own Drew Brees, in that mould, and I wouldn't be surprised if Payton feels compelled to reach for him... If we pick and Malik McDowell AND Chidobe Awuzie are still there at No. 42, that'd be a real tough call... McDowell has top five talent, is a virtual clone of Cam Jordan, and I'm not sold on this whole cloud of bad attitude thing... Malik McDowell just needs some trusted coaching and guidance and we've got the defensive coaches and vets to do it... Personally, I like Awuzie as much, if not more, than Lattimore and wouldn't have a problem taking Chidobe either... And yes, even though I really, really felt we already have two terrific CBs already on the roster... |
