Kick returner?

One area of concern for me was KR. Is Kamara a KR and is anybody else a good KR we need someone.I know Ginn has some ability

Kamara was a punt returner but I don't think he handled kick-off's. I would imagine Ginn will be that guy.

People say that Ginn can't catch the ball... Why would anybody want him returning punts?

He only dropped 5 passes last season. Not to bad, all receivers drop balls from time to time.

But in regards to him returning kicks, seems he is better at that than punts. His punt return yardage is not very good.

Somebody will probably fight their way onto the roster from out of nowhere for that role.

Travin Dural does not look like an option either. Never did it.

Correct. According to PFF, Ginn ranked 9th for 2016 on kick offs. I think he will be that guy.

Side note:TommyLee ranked 27th.

That is the same way I saw it breaking down. Ginn looks like he needs to focus on his returns.........and kickoffs seem easier to track.

It's all good, though, because we'll be doing well to get more than about 5 kickoff returns all year. That stupid idea of moving the ball up field years ago has made returns almost non existent. Except when our kickers kickoff. They manage to come up short quite a bit. I'm hoping that was just McMahon's bad idea to kick short on purpose.

Pretty sure it was McMahon's idea. Both Lutz and Moorestead have the leg to put it through the end zone almost every time.

Kicking short is a good tactic IF you have a good coverage unit. The Saints didn't and McMahon didn't recognize that. One of the many reasons why he's no longer with the team.
