It's highly unlikely Streiff loses his job. Save this statement for the preseason.

I wanted him to lose the job last year especially after he threw shade at the former oline coach blaming his struggles on that rather than decline. He didn't lose it.

Exactly where did Strief (learn to spell OUR player's names correctly) "throw shade" at Bret Ingalls? Was that some of the bullcrap that was twisted by a web blogging hack?

Strief said in an interview after Ingalls was replaced ...

Quote:

"Anytime you switch offensive line coaches, there's a lot of ways to do it, and I think they all have kind of fundamental differences from each other in the same way that Coach Marrone was different than Kromer who was different than Bret," Strief said. "Sometimes there's fit issues. Coaches like to do things a certain way and maybe he doesn't want the guys that are vested doing that. And I don't know that was the case with Bret, but I think some of the stuff we did with Bret was a little bit different than what we were used to, just some technique stuff that was different, some theories ...

"I think Dan is closer to the norm and what guys were used to. Again, we haven't put pads on and we'll see if that helps at all. I know that just having a fresh message was good for guys."
Referencing that statement the web hack, Larry Larmeu, posted the following tweet ...

Quote:

Larry @LarryLarmeu
Sounds like Strief is basically saying "glad we fired the old OL coach because he was weird and it didn't go well." https://twitter.com/Kat_Terrell/stat...52637846298624

Once again, get your facts straight, or better yet, actually use facts for a change.

Will; I have a quote you may want to heed: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt "

Okay, what i said about Streiff is somewhat accurate. It was on SR last year around this time, I think it was ESJ that brought it up. He said the Streiff said the oline had problems with Kromer's replacement and the scheme did not accomodate them or something among those lines.

Once again, the name is Strief. Secondly, I found the thread you are talking about on SR right here.

The OP referenced the exact quote I posted and also posted the misguided tweet by Larmeu. Then a couple of idiots on the site started blasting Strief based upon what Larmeu posted, not on what was ACTUALLY said. People, like you obviously, who are too lazy to spend the time to read the actual quotes are the problem.

So, no, you were not "somewhat accurate". You were completely wrong ... again. You stated that you wanted him to lose his job because he "threw shade" at Ingalls. All he did was make an intelligent statement based upon facts, something you appear to fail at on a regular basis.

I have found the ignore list to be very useful. Been a long time since a middle schooler got under my skin like that. I'm all better now.

Well... you reminded me that this thread really has only one topic worth discussing...

Not the coverage, but the O Line protection is what determines Brees' efficiency
