Here's what we've all been waiting for:

Re: Mini Camp Day 1 Updates
The chemistry of this team just feels better for some reason. I could be wrong but it just does. It seems like players really want to be on this team.

I'm excited about the defense. I can't wait to see what the new guys bring to the table. |
Re: Mini Camp Day 1 Updates
Arthur Maulet was targeted 3 times in coverage and allowed 0 completions.

This defense may not be as good as that one, but it'll definitely have some talent on it; if they can't stop the deep ball, it's on Dennis Allen and not for lack of talent... |

Maulet could surprise at camp. |

Re: Mini Camp Day 1 Updates
Brought my grandson today. All set at running back. Ingraham, Peterson, Kamara and Cadet all looked good to me. Recievers: Michael Thomas, Coleman,Sneed,Ginn and Corey Fuller all looked good and Dural was off and on. It's really nice not having to wonder about QB

"I believe I can fly" ... Marcus Williams has some serious hops. |
Re: Mini Camp Day 1 Updates
Arthur Maulet had a good day. Word is he broke up everything. Lacks speed but he could cover the slot if this works out the RZ.

Umm... I think we'll be ok. |

Faulk was slower, though a methodical, disciplined multi-role player like Pierre Thomas; in fact, Cadet is a Faulk clone if ever there was one which the hate baffles me... I'd liken Kamara's size, speed, shiftiness to Reggie Bush, who's role was last filled with Sproles - who was prematurely moved and haven't had that joker back since... This is more of Payton going back to his early blueprint for success... |

Cadet and the great Kevin Faulk should NEVER be used in the same sentence :brood:. Furthermore, the Patriots just don't induct any average Joe's to their Ring of Honor. If Kamara ends up half as good as Faulk was in his role here in New Orleans ... we've landed one hell of a back. https://www.boston.com/sports/new-en...special-player |
Re: Mini Camp Day 1 Updates
I was looking at all the Safeties in the draft. Almost none can get up as high as Marcus. Not even close. Think there was one. That should get him at least a couple of picks alone.
