He has a good coach now. It won't take long to figure out if he's got it or not.

Exactly. I'm of the thinking that his collegiate coaching carried him through his rookie year...

And then between D.A. and Vitt, he got thrown off course as in only his second year...

Nolan will provided stability for the linebackers and make it the strength of not only the defense, but the team...

While my personal preference is for Anthony to start at the Mike, I just want to see him get a real shot with a real LB coach...

Where does Kline fit in? Maybe Dennis had no idea what he was doing with Stephone last season, no? I'm sure Nolan has spent countless days of film study to see why SA was not successful last year & how he plans on fixing it.

I think if SA succeeds, it's going to be at the MIKE position. Coach em up Nolan!

In the recent articles about the Nolan and the linebackers, there's a quote of Dennis Allen that pretty much indicates Nolan showed him some things on coaching, communicating with individuals...

Mike Nolan, savvy, veteran coach that he is, just has a natural way of communicating and get his players to respond that they're processing his lessons or neaux...

To you're original question about Klein, in an article a few weeks back, Klein revealed he's been seeing time at both Mike and Sam and that Saints coaching told him as much; he played SAM in Carolina and had the speed and skills to cover tight ends and most running backs...

While the Saints like their 3-safety sets with Vaccaro coming up in a Thomas Davis role, I suspect now that the talent has improved at the LB position, we'll see more base sets with Klein-Anthony-Anzalone...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

My high school history teacher failed me because I was bored, never applied myself and didn't earn a passing grade. He was possibly one of the most boring speakers I've ever had to sit through. When I went to college my professor was a creative picture painting genius. I saw battles coming to life and could see history unfold in a fascinating way. History then became my minor in college.

It's funny what a good teacher can do for people after giving the students the proper tools to succeed. I'm hoping for Anthony to put it all together with Nolan showing him how to do it. He started with all the right tools and hopefully it was Joe Vitt that just confused him rather than tailoring a method of coaching that would specifically suit him.

Boy, Rugs, you nailed it...

My Senior Year, I spent the last three weeks lunch period with my Physics teacher...

He couldn't understand how I could score so high on the ACT in science and be horrible in Math...

In those weeks, we did a "refresher" of Algerbra, Trig, Calc...

My Freshman, Sophmore College years - Mathematics classes were my strongest and easiest taken...

It takes a willing student and a patient teacher; sadly most of my teachers didn't have patience with me and were just mailing it in for the check...

Will always be grateful to my HS Physics and Geometry Teachers for what they did for me...

Even if I rebuilt their Lister Engine Generator for their Camp in trade...

Ten years ago I wanted to pursue physics and after sitting down with a Physics professor he said that my math back ground would limit me to being only a theoretical physicist. I truly suck at math, but if I've got to suck at something I'd rather it be math instead of drinking!

This. I believe that was the problem w Rob Ryan. He had a lot of experience and knowledge, but he didnt k ow how to transfer it to the players on the field.
