You can count me in. I\'ve was a season ticket holder the last two years but I\'m still a struggling college student and couldnt afford them this year, the extra hunred a seat was too much I had four seats.

As soon as the dates are set im sure we will know more. Im sure i can get about 4 or 5 others to travel down with me also (I live in alexandria).

Group tickets for the Saints become avaiable on April 25th. If we get a count of how many people and what game (once the schedule is released) by then I should be able to get great seats.

That\'s roughly 20 BnGer\'s, plus many have expressed interest in bringing a guest, wife, girlfriend, etc. (I\'ll be bringing the wife myself). Sounds like Cruton\'s got the hook-up for the tickets. No doubt a few more folks will straggle in later.

Tough question, however. How are we gonna handle the \"financial\" side of this thing? Should we designate a \"treasurer\" or something? I\'d hate to see anyone lose a buck when we\'re trying to put something this good together.

Hey Cruton, is there anyway we can reserve 100 seats and have each member call in and pay for their own? I will be buying at least 4 for myself and another 5 to 10 for others who can\'t afford to go.

I can hold the seats with some money down, so when the first person is ready to pay give me a call, and put that money down. Even if you buy 2 seats that can hold all 100. after that anyone that wants to come can give me a call and buy thier own tickets from the block. They just have to tell me that they are buying the tickets with B & G. The only thing is that all the seats have to be paid in full one month before the game or the unpaid seats will be released.

So after the schedule is released, Halo or a mod can top contact info for Cruton. Each person calls in his own payment info by the deadline, along with number of seats.

This sounds good, better than appointing a treasurer. Dealing with the legalese would be a pain.

But to thicken the plot... would anyone else be interested in getting B&G T-shirts made? I really want to see those \"FireVenturi\" and \"BMG\" t-shirts, per WhoDat\'s and LKel\'s Times Picayune 2013 Headline post. That would just be too much.

I know it sounds crazy, but I am in the military currently serving in Korea where anything is possible. If there were enough people interested in this idea, I can have T-Shirts or even Jerseys custom made for those who would want them. The best part is that they would be cheap cheap cheap! If this is an idea that takes off, I would be more than happy to contribute to the cause!

Regarding T-shirts, I think the best way (if Halo is interested, I man, after all, it is his site) is to get Halo to agree to a design he likes. He could agree on a design with an online silkscreen vendor, then we could order individually from the vendor.

Thinking something like black background with Black & Gold and a fleur-de-lis on the front (in gold). Custom handle in gold (i.e. Lord of Entropy) on the back.

We could reverse the color scheme for sunshiners (i.e. Billy C).

Once the design is settled, and a vendor is chosen, we could just order indiviually online, if interested.

I thought of something else ... a question.

What section of the Dome are we thinking of getting seats in? It\'d be good info so we\'ll know what to expect in terms of prices ... and I\'ll confess, I\'m a bit snobbish about the 600 level seats. I don\'t mind watching the game from there at all, but all those darned escalators leave me lost about half the time! ;)

I dunno what the restrictions are on reserving sections, but if we have choices I\'d like to suggest the corner endzone seats, 100 level if possible. Obviously most of us can\'t afford sideline seats, but the corner endzone is usually pretty reasonable and still provides a nice view of the action.

Any thoughts?

As long as they\'re not bottom endzone. I sat there a few years ago when the Broncos killed us. It was horrible.

Other than that ive always been up top. Sec 620 row 17 for the last two years. But not this year cant afford 4 season tickets.

I dont care. Football, New Orleans, SAINTS, im on the roof if I have to. :cheering:

Just my opinion but I think we need to pick a game before we pick seats. It does no good to pick seats if we can\'t agree on what game.

Price for the 600 level (even for the sideline) is $30 a ticket if you have more than 20 people. If you want to sit in the 100 level it will run $74 a ticket in the endzone and corners.

One other thing. When picking a game I would recommend not picking the Atlanta game, because it will hard to get good seats regardless where you sit.

I also forgot to mention that we have a tailgate package you can add on for $40 a ticket. It takes place at the pratice facility in Metairie, and it includes food beer. Also a police escort for the bus that takes you to and from the Dome. It is a really good deal, and may be a good add on.

Cruton discouraged the Atlanta game, and I agree that tickets to that one tend to be on a premium. This could also be the case with the Miami game, given the local interest surrounding Nick Saban.

A couple of people mentioned that a mid-season date would work best for them, so my best idea is the Chicago game, 12 Noon on 11/06. Chicago is not really a high-prestige opponent, so tickets might be easier to come by. It\'s mid-season, and the Bears are pretty rotten so there\'s a good chance we\'ll all have a better time!!!

So, in the interest of being as accomodating as possible, my vote is for the Bears game. Anybody else???

While I may be able to attend the Chicago game, I\'d prefer going a bit earlier in the season. Eliminating Atlanta and NYG (Eli craze) leaves only one other option: Buffalo on 10/02/05.

I would think we need to settle on a game ASAP in order to have a better chance at securing a large block of seats..

Agreed, should get the ball rolling soon. Living in N.O. / Metairie now, I\'m pretty flexible and plan to attend as many games as possible, anyway. So if the Buffalo game works better for everyone, I\'m with that.
