Good player, but not great.
The reason we see this type of article is that for the past decade we've had trouble finding "good" players along the D-line. Most good defenses would not be affected by a Nick Fairley loss. Its the crappy defenses that would take a step back. |

You win and lose in the trenches. This definitely hampers the team more than some folks want to admit. Rankins will be a stud eventually while Onyamata and Davison are both unknowns that went in the middle rounds because they were so raw. I have a hard time placing a lot of faith in projects and I'm worried that we don't have a demanding physical presence with Fairley out.
