Anzalone, Bell, Muhammad, Williams, and M. Williams all flashed.

Bad.....
Harris is not good.
Grayson holds on to the ball too long.
It's good to see Swann and Kikaha out there, but they're just average at best. Swann too slow. Kikaha not big and strong enough. Easily engulfed.
The LB's over all were just pedestrian.
Anthony is just a down hill guy. Thinking and covering are not his strong suits.
The TE's were basically invisible.

Ugly.....
Another don't give a crap preseason loss. You have to try and win the games. It's an attitude that's been lacking under Payton.
Harris and Tom are not NFL O-Lineman.
Hands of stone Ginn. His days should be numbered.

Agree with everything except Kikaha. Give the guy a break ffs. A tenth of a second longer and he sacks Osweiler. He has heart and a motor. It was the first game action for quite some time since he got hurt. I think a rotation of him and Okafor is pretty solid.

And I also am on the fence with Anthony. But is it his fault he has the expectation of him that he does. IMO it is obvious he was not a first round talent and more of a third round. I think having him as depth is pretty good and I just hope that at some point, the light bulb turns on for him while he is playing for us. Its happened before. Players struggle for the first few yrs and then something clicks and they turn all pro. I can hope for that at least lol.

Where did Anthony have any blown coverages?

Idk what game some of you were watching unless you have some PRE-conceived biases which it seems.

Sound byte from Kenny V after P/S game #1. Noticeably frustrated and I can't blame him.

Vaccaro: 'We need to win these preseason games'

Winning in pre season matters ...

I don't blame him either, we had no attitude or desire. Grayson looked like crap, we couldn't move the ball at all for a long period of the game.

How many consecutive preseason games have we lost now?

This is why I did not want him. So keep an eye on our next speed WR Corey Fuller in the next 3 games. I really believe as the drops coinue and the season wears on he will become the man.

IMO it starts at the top. The plays called are not great plays. Go for it on 4th down for a td and you call a jet sweep? C'mon. You wanna know why we don't win pre season games? Just look at the coach. there is your answer.

He didn't. He was clearly better than Grayson. Just like Crawley didn't help himself. It's a Duncan piece, so...

Crawley played great except on one play where he missed the press and the wr got over the top of him and caught a pass that could've been a td if he kept both feet in bound. One PI called on him was stupid and the other one was necessary( he took the fade away and the pass was a comeback route) He was still in their with tight coverage just too soon but showed great reaction.

Bell, I perceive him to becoming a ballhawk but he more like a thumper. His read and reaction look to be up to par.

Vacarro did it all, great coverage and diagnosis the plays. Contract year, this guy look to be looking at a lot of film on his opponents

P. J. Williams, played great. No hesitation in his tackling after that brutal concussion. Still I'll like to see his head far away from those knees.

Devante Harris played great, would've like to seen more attempts at him.

Bad

Swann too slow to be guessing wrong. No recover speed at all. The wr was actually slowing down to wait on the ball and still had a yard or two separation when the ball got there

E Harris no excuse as the last line of defense letting a reciever get over the top. Special teams is no guarantee

I disagree; Kikaha kept getting held(only 1 was flagged)... That's the only way they could keep him out the backfield...

Anthony, T'eo, and Anzalone all had their moments... T'eo and Anzalone were good in coverage...
