Deuce and Jim Henderson

Does anyone listen to the games on 870? I have to sometimes and Deuce is an absolutely horrible color guy. He has zero enthusiasm and zero chemistry with Jim Henderson. Henderson has even taken to screwing with him a little bit and it goes completely over his head. He says the same **** over and over again.
Loved the guy as a player but good god he is aweful.
I knew Hokie would be hard to replace but there has to be an alternative

I wish they would move Kristian Garic up from the sidelines. Deuce seems better suited for that anyway.

Wish Archie would come back; Archie Manning and Jim Henderson were a great team...

Have met Deuce, and after a couple of meet & greets with Archie, I can tell you Deuce and Archie are among the most genuine of good men...

But the Saints really need to find someone better than the Deuce so those of us that turn down the television and turn up the radio can have a better game experience...

at least, or until, the secondary gives up another 4th and 14...

I haven't but it is a shame because like you said love the guy otherwise. And he is such a good dude too, like in life he is a good person.

Give him some more time, most guys take some time before the find their grove. At least he has a seasoned pro in Jim Henderson to work with.

I used to listen to some of the games on radio years ago. I haven't need to since Sunday Ticket came out a decade ago.

I don't know what's going on at Fox8 - New Orleans, but they need to shake things up there as well...

Juan is fine in front of the camera, and Fazende is gritty, but watching Curtis Lofton is brutal; they need a sole sports director...

And this Raycom network, what's up with that? It's almost worth ponying up the $99 dollars to Goodell to avoid those guys...

I can't even give an opinion on Stinch because he can't get a word in between those two gas bags they have...

We could use better announcers. ESPN let some folks go recently...............

Not going to lie, Deuce is rough. I just don't think he's got the stuff for radio.

The commercials are especially rough. Sorry Deuce, still love you!

Deuce is a little better than Hokie was.

Deuce has much better insight, but he is rather monotone.

Lol yea he murders the Ruths Chris Steak House. It's an absolute train wreck.
Love the guy. Loved him as a Saint and an Ole Miss Rebel but all the time in the world isn't going to help him. He's just not radio material. Again I think he would be a great sideline reporter. Getting a players take on the sideline would be awesome.
