I think PJ Williams and Marshon Lattimore are very quickly going to become the best young CB tandem in the league.

Id take Sherman in a heartbeat his intensity alone would be great for the defense ....

Nah, don't need his type of "leadership." I'm pretty confident in our own guys, they're of higher character and to me, are just as talented. Pass.

Could you expound? All I've ever read on this cat is that he gives 110% in the film room, practice and in meaningful games.

The 100% I'm fine with, it's the extra 10% I could do without. Mouthy, arrogant, too hype, poor emotional discipline, openly questioning and criticizing head coaches and teammates -- if he'd just close his mouth and do his job, that'd be great, but he insists on injecting himself into situations that he'd be better off leaving alone.

A teammate never puts himself above the team, and I just think his way of handling things is a locker room cancer waiting to happen. In a word, too immature for my personal taste.

This of course is all my personal opinions, and my own observations. Could be wrong but I think he's a better fit for a team like Dallas

Not interested... past his prime anyway. Isn't Shermie a PI waiting to happen with his "press" cover skills?

Agree completely with everything you said!

Not interested in another overrated Seattle DB.

Re: What do you think about Richard Sherman?

I think that ship has sailed off past the horizon. We have a group of young talented guys that are ready to compete. There's also enough depth that next man up will actually work if (and with Breaux out... when) needed.

We need to roll with the 6 or 7 that we have now. I really see 3 #1 guys (Lattimore, Williams, Breaux when he comes back) and up to 4 #2 guys (Crawley, Harris, Moore, and maybe Swann) that can carry the water.

It makes no sense to upset the apple cart at this point.

Stay away from seahawks defensive players in my opinion.

David Hawthorne looked like a pro bowl LB for them.

Exactly! Let's draft, go young, and make our mark...

We've finally assembled a terrific coaching staff...

And we've acquired some legit talent at several positions...

Team is going in the right direction now, be patient and watch...

Re: What do you think about Richard Sherman?

Cause I dont want no commies on my team.
1. having a commie with a big mouth, like Kaepernick, is a HUGE distraction.
He killed the 9'ers with negative attention & idiocy.

2. Commies suck.

thats all.

Because you think Colin is a better QB? Seriously?

Re: What do you think about Richard Sherman?

Isn't that an old link? They're talking about both Butler and Sherman, and I haven't heard anything about either of those two still being on the block.

Why would we suddenly pursue that now? I don't think that was a new link.

I would say potentially. Both have had injury concerns but I think that will be the only thing that can hold them back.
We are owed some good Gris Gris on the injury front so who knows.

Re: What do you think about Richard Sherman?

We've got plenty of options at CB that we don't need to bring in another riding into the sunset DB who's best games are behind him...

Plus, he's a freaking ***** and I don't want to fandom for a *****...

...To date, mostly, we usually trade or release guys like that anyways...

ehh, I'd pass. He has a lot of help surrounding him in Seattle. I just worry how he'd do here

Re: What do you think about Richard Sherman?

Are u kidding me? If there was a shred of truth to that rumor Payton would be foaming at the slot. He's always wanted Seattles defense.

Send Fleener on over for him.

Re: What do you think about Richard Sherman?

Hahaha, what a crackup of a thread! I click on page three to ask who we'd get rid of to grab Sherman and find myself in the middle of Kapernick, commies and not gonna happen tight end trades. All that's missing are aliens, tin foil hats and an epic Forever Fan thread saver. Damn, I love this forum!

I never will understand the Kap stuff. Chris Jackson was doing that long before he did meh...as for Sherman, the master of holding; pass.

Nah, he's just intense and emotional. He has fire and has always owned up to anything that is taken negative from what he says. Team mates like him and he would make every aspect of our defense better,

This is exactly what I was thinking. We need the season yo start. Theyll want a nice draft pick or player for Sherman, who even if he has lost a step is a legit starting corner who has great ball skills. Id love to have him but not for what theyll want. Pass.
