Only a few games. Not a big deal. Almost a good thing because we get to front load another WR which will come in handy down the road. Not many teams with that level of depth at WR.

This wont be a popular opinion, but I think this whole MADD thing has
gone too far. Its too severe, and it takes too little to draw a flag.
Blanket zero tolerance policies always bring unintended consequences.

As far as Im concerned, drunk drivers are no worse than stupid drivers, and everyone on the road around me is, in my expectation, stupid. Therefore I approach all other drivers as if they are stupid. Because they are. This has kept me from having a single wreck, in 40 years of driving. Doesnt matter to me if they're drunk, stupid, or texting. Im gonna put the hammer down, and put them in my rear-view mirror.

The secret to highway safety is DRIVE FASTER. They just dont want to tell you that, because if word gets out, they wont be able to hold their radar roadside fund-raisers. People in Germany know this fact, but they want their Auto-Bahn to themselves.

HAUL AZZ, and the stupid, drunk, and textors will be in your past. The difference between drunk driver and texting drivers is that drunk drivers are looking at the road.

I rode a motorcycle through Bay Area traffic, twice a day to the tune of 100 miles round trip every day, and I rode it as if I was playing TRON. I rode it just as you describe. I got ahead of folks, put them in my rear view, for precisely the reasons you mention.

Don't agree at all with the drinking part. Too many folk have died just for that kind of stupid. Look at it as stupid squared.The anti stuff and mega penalties keeps me from doing it and I'm glad of that kind of paranoia. I'll throw stupid cell phone **** into that mix as well.
However, I do totally agree for the most part on the faster. Leave the idiots in your rear view and do your damnest not to be a sitting target for them.

A person can sober up instantly from distracted driving or texting while driving. Not the case with DUI. Both can have disastrous consequences, but DUI is a more persistent danger.

Point 1- I agree to a certain extent. The average person is not impaired at the legal limit, and there are too many other factors that affect BAC.
I would be in favor of increasing the BAC number, but then adding to the penalty for anyone who violates it.

Point 2- Snead's dumbass move might have cost him a couple of million. It's 2017: friends, cabs, Uber, asst. coaches... just f***ing call someone. He screws up his livelihood bc of a few beers? Stupid.

This has to be the least talented and inexperienced group of receivers in the Sean/Drew era. This team has regressed drastically at TE and other than Thomas (15 NFL games), who makes his living between the hashes (making himself more vulnerable to injury) our WR corps is looking pretty questionable.

We'll know by noon CDT Oct. 1st if this group can make plays.

I think Carr is more than a stop-gap, though. What I saw is great hands, quick in short spaces, decent size/athleticism. Doesn't have much straight-line, break-away speed (4.6), but just gets open. I like him.

Sorry buddy. Not when you've seen when I've seen. And if more of the public did, more people would think twice about it. You can put people behind you all you want. That doesn't save the Innocent people unknowingly driving toward a drunk driver. Or the Innocent people driving through an intersection that get t-boned by a drunk that was too wasted to stop at a stop light.

Until you've done CPR on a child while his mom is unconscious and bleeding because some ******* decided to get wasted and drive, you don't know the real impact of drunk drivers.

Couldn't agree more!

Anyone that gets themselves into that position deserve to face the consequences, unfortunately fate is cruel and it normally turns out that someone completely innocent and unrelated ends up paying the price for a drunk drivers mistake.

I have no time or remorse for a drunk driver, absolutely sickens me.

I for one have some empathy for him. He is young and made a mistake. He is lucky. I have made mistakes and fought threw it also. I know the impact this can have on your life but you can come back from it. I am going to go to Martini Madness and I will be calling Uber. Just reinforces things I need to do to avoid a situation like thisas we all will be held responsible
