Tomorrow I may have to read game recaps if the power is knocked out here but I have decided I no longer want to partake in live game discussions with this board. I plan to watch saints games from head to toe this season so I can see for myself how they play. That way I will have a accurate critique of things I don't like.

So how were you watching the Saints before? From head to shoulder? You're going to see for yourself how they play, now? As opposed to what? Who was watching for you before?

I went off of what other people said. The constant complaints about three and outs and so on. I was watching NFL redzone last year(and did week 1) so I did not always get to see saints games head on. The only full saints games I saw last year was Oakland, Carolina, Detroit(before turning it because it got so frustrating), and TB(both times). Atlanta(week 3), Carolina(week 11) got so bad I could not stick to watching. In those instances I may not pay a lot of attention because I hate seeing abysmal performances against those two teams. LAR was on redzone a good chunk last year.

I got mostly highlights of TDs, big plays, or turnovers in regards to saints off redzone and followed the chat's recapping as well. Usually there's excitement over a player that doesn't even get a first down.

So are you saying that you didn't have the capability of watching full Saints games last year, so you watched redzone, and followed chat? Or did you just choose to follow the games that way before, and now have decided to watch the entire games? Because you said in your original post that you were not going to participate in game threads (I don't either, but that's because I'd rather watch then chat during games) anymore, because you want to watch the team for yourself to form your opinions (paraphrasing).

I'm curious as to why anyone would let others form their opinions for them, and if that's how you came to your conclusions, then why does it seem your opinions are almost always at odds with 99% of this forum?

We all have opinions and disagree from time to time, but you come in here with some very off the wall topics and seem to always be trying to start a war with the forum. I don't get that, man.

I got annoyed with some things that went on with a couple of posters a while back, who seem to always be in everyone's proverbial ear hole, so I just took a break, rather than let it boil over. I certainly didn't make a thread about it. I've seen multiple threads from you, talking about how you feel you're mistreated, and that you're going to leave, or stop doing something in particular, but then you're right back to posting the same stuff again.

Saints football is here, let's get this off to a good start.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Will...I just wonder why you made a thread for this. It's not that big of a deal if you're on chat or not. Just like anyone else. That's what I don't understand man. When you make these type of threads... people either think you're an egotistical maniac with an over inflated sense of self worth. Or they think you're an idiot. Or both. If you're trying to prove a point by saying you're not going to be on chat, than say it. But be prepared because regardless, no one is going to care. You're no more important than anyone else. And (I know this is going to be surprising to hear...take a breath) people here aren't exactly hanging on every word you say.
