Who Are the Best Five O-linemen Right Now

In my opinion we could get our best five players on the field with Peat, Kelemete, Unger, Warford and Ramczyk starting against the Patriots.

Peat has proven that he can play LT as well but isn't built to play on the right side of the line.
Kelemete is a guard not a tackle.....Get him back to his more natural position.
Unger is playing sluggishly right now but he should work himself back into shape soon.
Warford is paid to play RG. Let him do it.
Ramczyk was drafted to play right tackle and he might as well get started now while Strief rehabs.

There are plenty of ways to organize the front line. What group gives us the best five players while utilizing their strengths?

I don't know if Payton will mess with the O-line chemistry on a short week.....just sayn':smokin:

I guess the good news is that the Pats D-line isn't even the same galaxy as the Vikings.

The bad news is they're better in every other facet of the game.

I also expect every major call to go against us.

They're all on another team...

Why would we move a bunch of guys around? Seems like it would make the problem worse. We're just going to plug in someone at RT for a couple weeks.

Totally agree. Starting to move pieces around on an O-line is usually a recipe for disaster. To have Ram switching from LT to RT in a week and be productive, in an NFL game? Don't understand the thinking since we know how hard the switch was for Peat. Its kinda like you would start brushing your teeth with your left hand instead of you right, you'll get the hang of it but it will take some time and the results won't be pretty to start with.

We'll see who they will put at RT but I believe that will be the only change made.

And you're going to reshuffle again when Armstead comes back?

Rugs, don't disagree with you about the best 5, but to keep moving pieces around every few weeks, gotta tell you, I see a lot of missed assignments and yellow flags...

Smart guys, no doubt, but performing under duress, at that level, on national television, in front of 60,000 people, and they've got to beat BigMoFo's there size, slightly quicker?

And if you have to choose between two guards, I'd spend more money and value the right guard over the left, and for what Warford is being paid, he shouldn't be moved...

That is most likely which is a problem since that means both our OTs will need help.

The Vikings probably could have.

There has to be a better tackle out there then harris, he is a turnstile and will get drew hurt. Idk why they keep going to him, id rather them trade for one then start him.

I meant Warford to play RG. I edited it . Thanks for the input. That is what I'm after.
