Looks like Saintfan might be right with his concerns about the receivers not catching balls . Looked catchable to me .....

Did anybody notice how quickly both of our tackles got overcome by the Dlinemen? Maybe we should take an OT in the first round.

Nah, Gandy did just fine, his man was out of the play, pushed him right past the pocket. It was the right tackle that got beaten (and beaten badly) - number 71. Folau?

Of course, we all know already that RT is a glaring need position this year. No way in hell old Riley should be back. Didn\'t he lead the league last year in penalties? Not just the team, the league.

Even if that were the case, that justifies throwing the ball BACKWARDS on a play that doesn\'t call for the ball to go BACKWARDS? So the plan was for AB not to get a sack on his record, but for whoever caught the ball to take a 5-7 yard loss instead of just going down in the pocket for a 2-3 yard loss? Okay.

That is not what I meant AT ALL. There is NO justification for Brooks throwing the ball backwards to a lineman. I was just making an observation about our tackles.

And yes, I do think Gandy got beat on that play. Not as badly as Folau, but beat nontheless.

Man - to know what AB said to McCarthy to explain that one. LOL. I WISH I could have heard that explaination.

Probably something along the lines of

\"Man bruh...the o-line been giving (expletive)Aaron Brooks all this fake love and fake protection. Don\'t they know how good Aaron Brooks is(smiles)\"

I disagree Turbo. Gandy pushed his man to the outside, AB took one step foward into the pocket. After that, that end was five yards back and out of the play.

He didn\'t get back into the play until the pocket had already broken down (which was immediate, via Folau).

Watch closely tracking the right end. Gandy played him textbook.
