The New Orleans Saints*resigned linebacker Adam Bighill to the practice squad Wednesday, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Bighill was signed to the practice squad following the preseason, but was added to the Saints active roster Monday prior to the Saints 29-19 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.*

Sweet. I wonder why they moved him to active in the first place. Unless they thought someone might snag him up. Shrug.

Both Anthony and Stupar were inactive. They were both listed on the injury report. So they probably felt they needed the back up just in case a couple guys got hurt.

He gets around the field and is in on nearly every play. He's a little fire plug with speed. I was surprised that we cut him but I am not informed about behind the scenes at the front office.
