Well if you don't know why that's the first part of the problem. It is very seldom as a player you don't know when you are doing a bad job. You also usually know if it is because the other player is flat out beating you or if its is you who is not performing.

Blowing a coverage that let Brandin Cooks catch a badly thrown pass that should have been a TD.
Holding Gronk and then making a pick aftet basically tackling him during a route.

Vaccaro has the skills to be a good NFL player if he was coached/used properly. At this point, the best thing for him and the Saints is to move on from each other.

Why is KV playing ANY bit of FS thats not what he does barely plays a true SS...we let go of our future safety a couple years ago..KV is a hybrid LB/SS/nickel who shouldnt be no more 10-12 yards off the ball

I don't ever recall seeing a player so out of position on multiple plays in multiple games. He's been so bad in coverage, they've benched him. KV has been in the league how many years? He shouldn't be making these kind of mistakes.

I don't get this "top 5 SS" nonsense.

You'd be surprised how many interceptions are not as clean as you think they are; most of his breakdowns in discipline are because he wants to help his teammates when he should just do his job and let D.A.s flawed scheme catch the heat...

Amazing how that continues to happen; of Stephone Anthony and Hau'oli Kikaha ever get to 3-4 defenses, Payton/Loomis/Allen will really be exposed...

I get that KV is not a free safety, but there real!y isn't much excuse for not covering deep on a basic cover 3 formation.

Maybe it's still the coaching................Vaccaro is not a free safety. He s barely a strong safety. I hate to say it....but I'm questioning DA now.

Personally I think DA sucks. Not sure what channel it was but before the game a group of analysts were picking apart our defensive scheme from week one and the entire panel was having a good laugh, at our expense. I know hindsight is 20/20 but DA doesn't seem like the answer. As much as I hate to admit it, it looks like another Payton minion situation (& I was really hoping this wouldn't be the case).

Yeppers this falls on the coaching. DA needs to get players into position to make plays and he isn't doing that. When you have young talent on the field you have to coach them up and... appears to be failing.

As much as I didn't want him to suck either. He hasn't shown us much evidence to the contrary. Guys still look lost in coverage. That's been the case since Spags was running the show.
