No, but what if he does get hurt? If Drew is invincible, then why even sign a backup at all? Let's spend the money elsewhere. Luke was cheap, and proved solid when he got to play. Why not keep him?

I agree Luke was a good back-up QB, maybe he looked elsewhere
for more playing possibilities. It's tough sitting behind guys like Drew,
Eli and Brady they never come out.

Doesn't matter, if Brees went down, wouldn't matter who was in there, it would be the same result. We do not have our next QB yet anywhere.
