IMO..the only chance we have against them is to throw the ball. They are very very stout against the run so far this yr. Mccoy only got only got 9 yrds rushing against them. Carlos Hyde only got 45 yrds against them in week 1. If we go into this trying to be "balanced" this game will get out of hand. We need to revert to the days of pass to set up the run. Its the only chance we have i feel.

Now onto our defense. I think this Carolina team is one our group should be able to handle. Newton is still rusty as hell. He was sacked 6 times yesterday. So I think we need to just go all GW on them and blitz early and often. I don't see any other way to play defense atm with this group. We struggle to play zone, we struggle to play man, what else is there but to just say fack it..blitz the hell out of them.

All I have..what do you guy's think?
Agreed, the balance of run/pass only works if you can actually run the ball. So sticking with that game plan, if we are unable to run again, for any length of time is a mistake as we have seen in the first 2 games.
Sacking Cam would mean we would have to actually get pressure to him, again, not something we have seen.
So although I agree, losing Olsen helps us a lot, if there is no pressure on Cam, Benjamin will kill us and McCaffery will fill in where Olsen bails them out. Out of the first three games, this is the one we have the best chance in. Hopefully both offense and defense gets in sync, if so, we win.

After two weeks, the Panthers rank #1 in TOTAL DEFENSE.

#2 in PASSING DEFENSE.
#6 in RUSHING DEFENSE.

Some will argue that their front 7 is better than Minnesota.

Our offense MUST PLAY ELITE FOOTBALL on Sunday to have a chance... in all phases of the game.

Let's say all parties decide to do this. Where is he going to go? The only teams I can think of off the top of my head are the Vikings and Denver.

I don't know who Carolina uses as a slot receiver, but they will have a big day.

We got stopped by a Patriots D that ranked dead last before entering the game.

This offense is not the saints of old, I don't think we have a chance and this could seriously be a shut out.

To be fair, Carolina has faced two of the weakest offenses in the league their first two games.

Asylum,

They can only dominate who is on the schedule. Carolina front 7 is good.

Re: Ok..On to The Pathers

The Saints must find a way to create turnovers/and or pass rush, defensive stops on 3rd down. Oh, and develop a run game.

You signed AP to run the ball, might as well use him.
