If we would just stop making a big deal out of it they would stop as soon as they realize nobody is giving them attention anymore.

On another subject, how many of you stand in front of your TV in reverence when the anthem is played.

I hate Trump but in his defense he pretty much said what I just did. If you stop making a big deal over the players they will stop. Fire them is a tag line for his show, and he is a part of pop culture as well as presidant and the media just ran with it.

I do. When the anthem is played, which until recently was few and far between, I'll stand with hand over heart. It normally normally used to only happen before big games. It used to be played during a commercial. It is part of my goofy Saints watching ritual. I basically pretend to be in the stadium all decked out with gameday food and drinks.

As for the crow-eating... not so fast. 1 game doesn't make a season. I still want to see this defense play like it did this past Sunday against quality opponents. And no, the Dolphins don't count. Same here. Might seem silly, but if I'm in the room and hear the anthem, I pretend I'm there and get a little emotional in the middle and ready for game time after it's over.
