Snead's Impact This Week?
"Coach Sean Payton said on Friday that Snead will indeed fly with the team to London, acknowledging the uniqueness of the situation. The Saints are choosing to spend the entire practice week in London to focus on rest and recovery in advance of next Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium.
The Saints have missed Snead's presence as the team has struggled mightily on third downs, converting just 8 of 23 during an 0-2 start this season. Snead's ability to find holes in zone coverage is a great asset on third downs. Without Snead, the offense has had to rely more on Brandon Coleman and Tommylee Lewis than initially expected this season." Thinking he is part of the game plan, not some gradual return. I fully expect to see him in full force this week. |
Re: Snead's Impact This Week?
It will be interesting to see. Not sure how many plays he will be involved in, but can't wait to see him find/sit in that open space on a short-mid distance 3rd down.

Re: Snead's Impact This Week?
I see no reason for him to have any limitation on number of plays. It isn't like he is returning from injury. He should have the freshest legs on the roster and the least battered body.
I really think his impact over the remainder of the season will be significant. |
Re: Snead's Impact This Week?
He should be a good addition for us an another thing to worry about for the Dolphins. I wonder who will get cut to make room for him thou?
I like the fact that we flew straight to London from the game, minimizes the travel and gives the players the most time possible to acclimate to the time change. We should be ready. |

Re: Snead's Impact This Week?
I may roll the dice starting him over Crowder. Only thing that bothers me is he has not practiced with the team in weeks, banned from the facility I believe. On the other hand, no current footage so a real wrench for Miami. He could be a nice spark and no real distractions from the media being in London.

Re: Snead's Impact This Week?
I think him being back will add just a little more confidence to the offensive unit, on top of the outstanding performance in Carolina. And one more thing for the Miami defense to worry about.
