Great article that goes right to the heart of discussion that a RB needing more carries to get into a rhythm to really be effective and boost that YdsAtt...

It is.

Still wonder if we are waiting on the annual Ingram injury before we see AP.

Hey, knock that sh*t off, Hagan... He'll probably stay healthy with AP sitting right there; or now, even Kamara threatening job security...

If it weren't AP, can't help but think Ingram would have another 5-10 touches a game, Kamara would uptick 3-5 touches per game...

...and I don't think that would be a bad thing so long as we've got adequate depth...

My concern is we have to start forcing it to AP...

I get concerned about that too. Ingram is obviously the better all around back. I'm not saying AP can't play, but I just think he's somewhat wasted here.

I think I just like seeing Ingram get some props.

Well, it's the ole criticism that he was a first round pick that cost two draft picks (a first and a second) and the fact he took five years to get his groove...

But now, he's a near-perfect fit for what we do on offense and has more value to the Saints because of the investment than if he walked...

Agreed. We are finally starting to get some value for the pick. What stands out to me is how much better his screen game has become. He is no PT yet but getting closer.

I still Adrian Peterson has a lot of gas left in his tank. Some of his moves Sunday showed he still has the ability to leave some defenders in the dust.

I have to admit...I feel the same. He's a good back. And he really could be a three down back. We'll just never see it.

It's easy to see that Ingram is our best RB, he breaks a lof of tackles with that jump cut move he does.

In terms of being an all round back, he's as close to PT23 as we'll get in that he can do everything. PT23 just had crazy balance and was nearly unstoppable on screens.

Pretty sure Ingram is only 27 also, I'd like to see him break Deuce's rushing record.

I think he could. But with all the backs we have right now, I'd be surprised to see him sniff 800 yards this season. He has 125 through three games. He should have more.

You're absolutely right; Ingram really is showing more patience, trust in his blockers as Pierre had mastered; it took nearly five years, but, yes, finally...

Definitely still got it - which is why if we can flash him in a few wins on critical drives we should take a decent trade offer...

Frustrating for fantasy owners (I'm one in one of my two leagues), but it's that element of surprise and multiple packages that's made Payton's offense so special...

Now, I can agree with you on Ingram's balance, cause I didn't think he had it in his first couple of seasons; he's no PT in the screen, but I really like his execution in that facet now...

Ingram is a complete back. Kamara is looking like a perfect scat back. AP will be a perfect compliment to the two of them and will be a perfect rotational back when he finds his groove again.
