Strief, Armstead and Lattimore practice

Good news.

I'm so happy Armstead's going to be back soon! I imagine we won't see him until after the bye week against Detroit. I don't know if we should put Strief back in the starting lineup or just roll with Ramczyk.

Re: Strief, Armstead and Lattimore practice

I'd say roll with Ram. Zach is still a good player and he'll be awesome coming in for jumbo sets. That'll also allow him to ease back in. And if he's willing and the price is right I think he could play at least another couple years at a high level in that role.

Re: Strief, Armstead and Lattimore practice

LT Armstead
LG Peat
C Unger
RG Warford
RT Ramczk

That's a line with potential to be dominant down the stretch.

Do we have any depth on the o-line though? Perhaps this last game says -- yes. Hope that's true -- because, if so, obviously our ground game is strong.

Combine that with a "comer defense" -- now we're talking.

When Strief and Armstead gets healthy we have good depth, regardless of which group we put out there on the field.

I always feel good about some depth but you have to be able to hit the hole too. :bng:

I agree. I wish we could find an equivalent to Warford on the left side though. :/

If Peat can just stay where he is instead of bouncing back and forth between LG and LT every other week I feel he can be every bit as solid as Warford.

Zach has always been the #1 player to spend his retirement years as our mentor/coach for the young bucs

Other than that I can wait to see what happens after 3 games of having all the players back. gotta work off some rust

Re: Strief, Armstead and Lattimore practice

The depth of the line would be Ram and Kalamete at the tackle and guard positions respectively, after Strief and Armstead get back after the bye.

That's better reserves than what we were dealing with, which was pretty much nil with the injuries.

Strief isn't giving up his starting spot without a fight.

T Terron Armstead (shoulder) could play for the first time this season after being listed as questionable.

I wouldn't expect him to. He's been a scrapper all his career. Fought to get the spot in the first place.

Sunday AM-
ace reporter Ian R says Strief is playing, Armstead is not.

you figure if Zach can go, why risk TA I guess
