Re: Saints Bye Week History
What was going to be considered the easier part of the schedule certainly looks more daunting...
Detroit clobbered us the last time we came off a BYE and played the Lions, so that's a concern... The Lions just beat Minnesota 14-7 in an ugly death-cage match fight, where the Vikes lost Dalvin Cook... Looks like we're gonna need the BYE week to scout and take these Lions very seriously as a balanced threat... |

Still, none of these games look like a gimme'. ![]() |

This schedule, when all is said and done, will be one of the most daunting in the NFL by season's end...Either way, if we want to be the best, bring all comers... |

Re: Saints Bye Week History
We are at home though and are 5-0 at home off the bye since 2007. That said, we almost lost to Carolina last year, so we're not rock solid off the bye. In all honesty, AP has a positive history against this team but he won't get enough carries and he may have lost a step. Is Kamara the answer? Lions couldn't stop Freeman.
