............................GP TDs
Aaron Rodgers..... 162 343 Drew Brees..........248 497 This includes the playoffs. Peyton Manning is the only other QB to average at least 2 TD passes per game in the regular season, but not so when adding in playoff numbers. |

Re: Only two QBs in NFL history have averaged 2 passing TDs per game played
Yes Drew and Aaron are great QB's, but it's also a sign of the times. People are throwing fades or rub plays with goal to go because it's tough for defenses to stop these days. This reduces the number of rushing TD's and increases the number of passing TD's.

Quote:
Even the great Tom Brady is some 20 TDs short of that average, and QBs like Rivers, Ryan, Stafford and Roethlisberger are not even close. |
Re: Only two QBs in NFL history have averaged 2 passing TDs per game played
First thing I always ask who is on the bench to replace them?
Well trade is a mute issue for the saints right now The NFL hall fame already has his bust. The only question I am asking is this How much has the change in the rules effect this 2 TD stat? |
