Bucs waive Jacquies*Smith
Didn't this guy feast on our O-line a couple years ago?
Smith had 13.5 sacks in 2014-15 after the Bucs claimed him off waivers. He missed last year after ACL surgery and played in only one game this season. Bucs waive Jacquies Smith – ProFootballTalk |

Speaking of the Bucs ...
Anyone watched them last night vs NE? No one on that team scares me including OJ Howard (Hagan714, where are you?). Winston throwing ducks, Folk missing countless field goals (hopefully they don't cut him until after we play them). Cooks getting a 15 yard cushion ... Bucs look a mess right now. They should have beaten NE. |

Charles Simms was looking good till Winston came along. Simms market value is rock bottom right now as he enters FA in 2018. Winston is the same guy he was in college. All the talent in world backed by a ton of media hype and still shows no signs of breaking though to the other side. Been waiting years for this to happen. Why? That is up for debate and there are many sides to that argument. Winston Effect? Charles Simms is in my "Bargain Basement Bin" in FA for 2018. He can return to that solid 3rd down back that gives you a 1000 combined yards a year. Like he did in 2016 with a better QB and system. Power RB Jeremy Hill is another RB that can benefit from a change of scenery. You can probably get both for the cap savings by cutting or trading Adrian Peterson in 2018 if he does not work out. |
