AP is still giving us value. I love Ingram but he runs best when he's motivated by another running back competing for touches. He runs harder and edgier when he's playing to stay on the field. He's a complete back who blocks well and catches passes out of the back field beautifully.
With Ingram and Kamara Sean Payton has the one two punch he had with Deuce and Reggie except that Kamara is stronger than Reggie and can run between the tackles. We need to roll with what is working right now and lining Kamara up all over the field makes him an even better chess piece for Payton.
AP will get his touches though as the year goes on and I hope he can produce. So far when we've fed him the ball AP hasn't really gotten into a rhythm. But if Ingram misses any time we should still have a great running game now that Kamara is coming on strong. |
