Golden Tate---Saint Killer

Better find a way to cover this guy:

2014 - 10 Rec 154 Yds 1 TD
2015 - 6 Rec 45 Yds 2 TD
2016 - 8 Rec 145 Yds 1 TD

BTW...all 3 games won by Detroit.

Wasn't every WR a Saint Killer in 14, 15 and 16?

its time to take it to stafford, his quick release is a sob. to defend. not counting that caldwell has it in for payton for that superbowl victory over his boy manning.

Get pressure early and force tightly contested throws. The young corners are impressive to me. I think they can handle the no name receivers from Detroit. Keep everything in front of you and play smart football.

Detroit don't have one of these ;) ....

Somehow, having more than a speed bump now on defense should change the outcome...

Golden Tate grrr I want us to sign him years ago. hard to find those #3 WR that can take over a game. we do not have one. We are still looking for a number 2 to step up. Nope never happy with what we got.

Thankfully Tate is now the proven Veteran WR so he is forced more into the #1 role which only limits his skill set. He is best lined up all over the place. He is a Vacarro of as a WR. He is best as a pest. Anchoring him outside is handicapping him.

I am still hope for a healthy Breaux to return one day soon, Lattimore and Breaux could be dangerous if both can stay healthy.

Can Crawley work in the Slot? Williams has not shown well in the slot so far. Neither SS has shown all that well either.

If the lions are smart they will attack us from the slot. Wii they work Tate out of the slot as much as they can? I am thinking so.

Willie may never take over a game, but he certainly has the ability to be a difference maker...

I won't lie, not a fan at all of Ginn and I'd like to see us get a 6' 2" Jordy Nelson-type opposite Mike Thomas with a Willie Snead running wild underneath and then Kamara on wheel routes and screens...

We need to address our slot DB next year. Our DBs are not getting the job done

A healthy Delvin xshould help us with latt and crawley. Hopefully that will happen before the end of the year . I still think we need a DE opposite Jordan hopefully next draft but I love the way the defense has looked the last 2 games. I didnt realize we played them 3 years in a row with all losses. WTF?

Don't be such a stranger. ;) We always love the input here.

Taint will be covered. If they beat us it won't be with him. If he does produce it will be in garbage time. He doesn't even go deep. Short routes. I don't think he has gone deep this year.

Looking forward to seeing Crawley and Lattimore take the next step before Jones, Evans come calling...

So how about the Saints knocking the Saint killer out the game... loved the tenacity yesterday

Nice win but there is still a lot to clean up before next Sunday.

Penalties - > 13 - 118 yards
3rd down conv - > 2 of 12
Special teams coverage was bad.

That's sloppy football & part of the reason this game was closer than it should have been. Get back in the film room and clean this up. Even without ARodgers on Sunday, this game will be a difficult game.

But be advised... You have to watch some of the people on this forum.
They may never grow up.
