Since drafting him with a number one pick, he did incredibly well the first year, then nuttin' ! How is he doing in Miami?

Unfortunately not much better in Miami.

Chalk it up as a bad draft selection, it happens. I had high hopes for Stephone.

The Dolphins are 3-1 since picking up Anthony.

The Saints are 4-0 since trading him away.

The trade was a win-win.

I was at Bobby Hebert's restaurant on draft night.
When the pick was announced, I jumped up and went over to where Mike D was seated.
I waited til the break.
I told him that I heard him touting Anthony in interviews for months leading up to that time.
Mike D and I high fived when the radio break came.
We were both so 100% certain that we had the next great ILB.

Meh.
We were wrong.

That says a lot right there. I put a lot of stock in what I hear coming from Mike D., so to hear you tell this story only further reiterates what we already know. And that's that you never know.

I asked T Bob if he thought Fleener would be a difference maker. He said yes and that he absolutely thought he would be an upgrade over Graham and the most dominant in the division.
To his credit he ate crow later in the year.
