Should we just at least make sure to grab 1-2 Buckeyes in each draft from now on?

Disregarding our distant disappointments with Ohio St players, should we double down on drafting Ohio St guys in light of our more recent success?

Urban Meyer is putting out more NFL ready talent of late.

Who is worthy in the upcoming draft?

I think they should do whatever the hell Jeff Ireland wants to do, he has been money for us since his hiring.

Wait I thought we wanted the team to be peopled by LSU players?

Yes we do... No 5 for LSU, RB Derrius Guice. He only ran for 276 yards against Ole Miss last week.

Speaking of LSU players, isn’t Eric Reid a free agent next year? He’d be an excellent answer at SS.

I think we are solid at RB. Then again the better run game we have the better it is on Brees.
I think it's time to go QB in the first if there is someone there worth the pick. And no, not to replace Brees but to learn for a year before he takes over.

he is a FA and so far the switch from FS to SS with the 49era has gone so so but he is showing signs of improvement. well worth keeping an eye on.

Plenty of OSU talent to pick from

Two of probably the most hyped DE in the draft
Sam Hubbard DE Ohio State* 6042 265 4.76 #6 rJr
Tyquan Lewis, DE, Ohio State 6032 260 4.78 # 59 rSr

Others
Jerome Baker OLB/ILB Ohio State 6005 225 4.62 #17 Jr
Dante Booker OLB/ILB Ohio State 6021 233 4.62 #33 Sr
Billy Price C/OG Ohio State 6032 312 5.19 #54 rSr
Jalyn Holmes DE OSU Sr, 6045 265 4.76 #10 Sr
Marcus Baugh TE Ohio State 6041 250 4.84 #85 rSr
Jamarco Jones OT/OG Ohio State 6050 310 5.27 #74 Sr

Bold are the ones I am watching closely.

Reid is now playing inside 'backer for the Niners.

Eric Reid’s move to linebacker is not approved by everyone

49ers’ Eric Reid has new role in his return: inside linebacker

I still think Deone Bucannon is a Pro Bowl SS and the cards are nuts using him like this. He can do it but ...

It is like the Dontae Johnson move from a Slot S/CB to outside CB has not panned out all that well either. But desperation for starting CB on the outside forced the move.

49ers are playing players out of position due to panic and desperation

The perfect formula for raiding 49ers FA talent in 2018.

Eric Reid trade before dead line?

back on topic lol

I am really liking

Marcus Baugh TE Ohio State 6041 250 4.84 #85 rSr

A perfect 5/6 round pick with upside. You see playing time not being an issue day one. Never know he could be a great weapon lost in the OSU like Thomas was. He has a solid chance at being a player with a long career in the NFL. As a Jason Whitten type of TE.

All the media can talk about is Shaq Barkley. Yea. Hes good. No doubt. But Darius Guice is the real deal. Guice has the #1, 3 and 4 rushing performanes in LSU history. He has excellent hands. He runs really hard. He is big, fast and cuts like Reggie Bush. Hell be a better pro than Barkley in my opinion. Of course Peyton loves the midwest players. He likes Texas, Oklahoma, Purdue types. I say we pick Guice in the 1st rd, Key in the 2nd, Chark in the 3rd(Chark joins Kevin Faulk as only other Tiger w 75+yd tds on a run, catch and return/he can fly-hence nickname"the flash") and LaCotoure in the 4th round. A stud RB, WR and returner, nose tackle and end pass rusher. WhoDat!
