Sean Payton expects Mark Ingram to bounce back after two fumbles against Chicago

Re: Sean Payton expects Mark Ingram to bounce back after two fumbles against Chicago
He didn't cost us the game. That's the most important thing. He fumbled twice. But before that he was running hard and was having a good game.
No excuses for fumbles, but I'm confident that this isn't some kind of epidemic for him. He'll get it taken care of. |

He's not fumble prone, he'll bounce back

I’m not worried about Ingram at all... he will be fine

Re: Sean Payton expects Mark Ingram to bounce back after two fumbles against Chicago
Kamara isn't built to be a feature back, Ingram is...
It's not like we have a choice either; but if this puts a little more focus in holding on to the ball and running with more authority, roll with it... |
Re: Sean Payton expects Mark Ingram to bounce back after two fumbles against Chicago
There is nothing in it size wise between the two. Kamara just looks smaller.
Both 215lb and 5'9 other 5'10. Ingram just has that thicker build. |

Quote:
Kamara has just used that fluidity to only receive glancing blows vs the direct NFL full body blows that Ingram took just last week... |

I have 100% confidence that Ingram will be just fine.
But they should activate Trey Edmunds for a little extra motivation. |

No worries here. Again, MI isn't a fumbler & is a good all around back. He'll run with his hair on fire come Sunday.
Side note - has anyone seen this man block on third down packages? This is probably another reason SP has 100% confidence in his #1 featured RB. Negate the fumbles, he's been solid all season. |

MI has been excellent this year. Somebody else said it but I agree. He's gonna be running angry this weekend.
