Be glad the Saints don't play the Texans this year!

The Seahawks might seem like a lock in this game, but trust me, they're not, and that's because no one is a lock to win after playing the Texans. Somehow, the Texans have turned into the ultimate NFL hangover. After playing them, you basically look drunk in your next game and you lose. In what might be the most unbelievable stat of the year, NFL teams are 0-6 this season after facing the Texans. I repeat, no team has won a game the following week after facing Houston.*

The Jaguars couldn't do it: They faced the Texans in Week 1 and then lost in Week 2.*

The Patriots couldn't do it: They faced the Texans in Week 3 and then lost in Week 4.

The UNDEFEATED Chiefs couldn't even do it: After beating the Texans in Week 5, the 5-0 Chiefs immediately lost their next game in Week 6. The Bengals, Titans and Browns also lost the week after playing the Texans this year.

I'm thinking they are probably glad they don't play us this year.

I could see it. Cousins is a good QB barring last week and that was with a duct tape OL and bad weather. Despite that he still did ok.

Seabirds got torched. Good D's don't get torched like that and they also might be without a key defender. I think they pull it off but it won't be a cake walk.

I think they are wrong on the Dallas game. They aren't built for "shoot outs" and the defense is still the weak link.

Don't look now... TEXANS without their QB just soon after I read this thread.

The titans were also playing without Mariotta and the browns actually almost won against Tennessee. Tennessee was not even competing in the Houston game as was Cleveland. And Cincinatti went to OT with Green Bay.

One thing to point out about the teams the texans are beating. None of those teams have faced a dual threat QB like Deshaun Watson twice a year. The saints have been doing it for years with Cam Newton and before him Micheal Vick.

Wait till the league gets tape on Deshaun and a off season to digest it. Then it might be harder for Deshaun.

So far Watson has been amazing and playing better than he did in college. I going back and looking for what I missed in scouting him. Houston is a team with all the talent in the world and needed just a QB to take that next step.

Can Deshaun Watson keep up the consistent play and dethrone Cam as the media darling? I hope so. I am so sick of the over hyping of Cam.

Opps maybe not

Deshaun Watson’s ACL Tear Is a Loss for the Entire NFL

Deshaun Watson suffered a torn ACL in practice today. A non-contact injury. MRI coming to confirm.

Damn that's sad. Deshaun won a state title in Georgia a few years ago. He's from the city where I live now Gainesville. You could never talk to a more decent and respectful person in your like. He won a National Championship at Clemson and I have no doubt he will win a Super Bowl someday. I wouldn't mind playing them now because he wouldn't be on the field but wish Deshaun a speedy and 100% recovery.
