The two hardest games of the remaining 8 will be against Atlanta.
That's the bad news. The good news is that Atl just isn't that good.

They have 4 wins, but have lost 4 of 5. They were lucky, truly lucky, to win against Chicago and Detroit. No one knows if the Jets are any good, but if their kicker didn't have his head up his @ss that day, NYJ would have won. That gives Atl one quality win this year, against Green Bay.

Today they lost to Carolina and Cam's 140 yards in passing, and they get Dallas next.
Not saying we'll win both, but they are ours for the taking

They did pull out the broom on us last year, so we don't need to take them lightly. This game will be more like a pro version of the Bayou Classic

Tampa is all about done for this year

Atlanta needs help from the football gods

Panthers lost a head yo head with us and that was a road win to boot

Saints are now in the drivers seat for the NFC South crown.

The two hardest of the Saints 8? Because Buffalo and the Rams will both be tougher than the Falcons. So will Washington. Next 4 are crucial for the Saints.

Agreed. The Rams are for real this year & the Bills game will be extremely difficult.

Buffalo hasn't beaten anybody good all year, and the Rams best win is vs Dallas. They are playing well, but have ridden the third place schedule so far.

and we are already favored vs the Bills

The two hardest games? They swept us last year, and that does not happen two years in a row. The hardest games on our schedule is what is coming up the next three weeks!

Can someone explain to me how were are only "half" a game up from the Panthers. I read an article on nfl.com which said this.

As I understand, we are effectively two games up on the Panthers. One game clear and a superior division record which includes a win against them?

The 3 next games are away against the Bills, Skins, and Rams. I think those will be tougher than the Clowns.

A bit of "football semantics", but tie breakers (head to head result, division record, etc) don't really count as games ahead or behind, it's only the W-L record that counts when discussing games ahead/behind.

By their records, the Saints are ahead 1/2 game because they have the same number of wins, but have played 1 less game, and we don't know what the outcome of that game is. If the Saints and the Panthers both were 6-3, it'd be said that their records are even, but the Saints win the tie breaker.
