Could any of the Saints' remaining games be flexed to Sunday night?

I think there are a bunch of games left on the Saints schedule that could generate a lot of national interest. In theory, I think the Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams to be the most likely to be flexed, but it's hard to imagine NBC wanting to switch from the Packers-Steelers game, even if Brett Hundley is playing quarterback for Green Bay.

The Week 11 game against Washington would be good, but the Sunday night game that week is Cowboys-Eagles. So, that's highly unlikely to change. Week 13 against the Panthers will be important, but NBC has Eagles-Seahawks that Sunday night.

The Week 16 game against the Falcons could be a big one, but that one can't be flexed because there isn't a Sunday night game on Christmas Eve. There are two Monday games, but the rules say games can't be flexed to Monday.

So, after thinking about this while writing this response, I guess it's unlikely the Saints will have a game flexed this year -- but certainly not impossible.

I was just coming to post this, but yeah I think rams very well could be flexed. NBC is gonna scrap that matchup. Week 16, the actual SNF game is Minnesota@GB and that one is luckier because the only other options are Atlanta@us and LA@Tennessee but if Atlanta is not in it then I don't think either hold enough weight to pull Minnesota/Green Bay.

Personally

I'd like to see the league miss out on flexing (serves them right) and have the Saints burst out in the playoffs 2nd week

I agree; I don't see much appeal in a Packers-Steelers game

The deadline for a decision to flex the New Orleans Saints (7-2) @ the Los Angeles Rams (7-2) to prime time has to be made by this coming Tuesday, 14 NOV...

Rams. If there if things keep going the way they are going I can see them setting up the Rams game as a possible sneak peak to the NFC championship game. Of course if Carolina and Atlanta go on a streak it could be one of them. I just see the Rams as more of an entertaining game nationally because of the storyline of the Rams new stadium and worst to first offense against our worse to much improved defense. That game is going to be a fist fight. It’s gonna be a fun matchup to watch.
I think if things keep going, we stay healthy and our defense continues to improve we can handle both Atlanta and Carolina. I just have a feeling our division won’t be that close this year.
Anyway it’s about nation ratings and the Rams game just makes a better story.

And it may be that Goodell's wood for the Rams overrides his disdain for the Saints...

We should know something by tomorrow if we get to piggyback on the LA Love Train and get a prime time game...
