This team is for real & no longer under the radar.

Just my perspective ....

Wins:
On the road vs Carolina @ full strength. They are 7-3.
At home against the Lions (for the most part full strength), top flight QB & a capable team.
London - shut out
On to the road .. Lambeau. Doesn't matter who the QB is, quality win.
Bears - top flight defense & they beat the Steelers.
Yucks (Bucs) - divisional win.
Buffalo - dominated a top 10 defense on the road.

You can only play your schedule. I see a lot of quality wins. I've come to the conclusion that this Saints team is not only good, but may be one of the best teams in all of football right now.

Here is a thought...

The SB will be played in Minnesota.
If things hold as they are now, there is the possibility the Saints could play the Vikings in Minnesota for the divisional round.

How soul crushing would be for Vikings fans to see the Vikings beaten at home by the Saints in the playoffs, then see the Saints win the SB in their house 3 weeks later?

I love the way the team is playing. After the 0-2 start, I moved my Saints gnomes across the room to hang out with my beloved Romeo. Romeo is my bulldog that past away back in March, cremated with his Saints blanket, so now they watch the game together and we haven't lost!!!

Yeah I'm knocking on wood right now.

I don't get these rankings. They mean and serve nothing.

In grown man football its about wins and winning big games like the SB. Your recod is who you are. You don't win a trophy for being #1 on the lists.

Also there are other rankings that have the saints 3 and 4. So all garbage.

UPDATE: PFT has Saints #6.

While I agree wins in losses are ultimately the deciding factor, stats/rankings are a good indicator of reality :beatnik:.

The best part of it, for me, is now all the network "experts" have to swallow their crap predictions and actually forced to talk about us. Yeah us because I'm part of the team. lol
