A Shout-out
I want to mention a player that has been overlooked but that might be because of his position and why I am giving him..erm..what do people say nowadays?..ah yes. Props.
A round of applause for Brandon Coleman please. He has made the odd catch or two when called upon but what I have noticed about him is his blocking. Normally, when we have a big gain in the run, Colman is usually seen somewhere close by, blocking for all he is worth. When Ingram made his 72 yard run, Coleman was blocking on the second level and then, when Ingram was coming to the end, Coleman was there, gave a push that got Ingram another 5 yards and was frustrated when he lost footing and couldn't do more. He has worked really hard this season so Brandon Coleman, I salute you. |
Re: A Shout-out
I was pleasantly surprised yesterday by his effort. Hopefully it continues.

Re: A Shout-out
Another unsung one: Zach Line. He blew open some holes yesterday that I might have been able to run through (though I'd be winded after 3 or less yards). He's also made some crucial 1st downs this year in short yardage.

Unger too. He opened a couple of holes himself.

Re: A Shout-out
I noticed that Brandon was visibly upset that he trip on the block that would've sprung Ingram. That was some hustle on his part ....kudos

Re: A Shout-out
Coleman made a key block last week on Kamara's 74 yard TD. Coleman made a key block and sprung Ingram into the open field, and then turned and sprinted downfield.
Great Hustle Coleman! |
Re: A Shout-out
I used to think BC was a waste of a roster spot, not living up to his potential. But this year he has truly grown as a player. Very unselfish and a true team player.
