He seems to be lettting them do there jobs for a change with less micromanaging. This is what excites me as much as the team winning. Payton an old dog is learning new tricks. That’s how successful coaches last. As time goes on and Brees moves on he can’t just keep calling the same old plays because it used to work for him. He may not get another Brees. We may have to become more of a run team with a Qb that playes smart football and a stout defense.
It’s the coaches job to get the best out of the players you have.

Yeah, but after 4 consecutive penalties, or 5 straight blown coverages, can you blame him for going off on his DC's?
Ryan was so bad.
Have no idea how his teams ever won a game

I agree tho- after the first Carolina drive I thought it was going to be a 42-38 game

The thought he finally has some guys that can actually do their jobs crosses my mind.
