If Brees is going to force a pass, do it to your best Receiver with Michael Thomas. Not freaking Josh Hill.

Atl will kick the crap out of the Saints in the dome too.

They didnt kick the crap out of squat they got alot help from the refs and sp shi*ty play calling but without the refs they might score 7

A bigger concern now all the freaking injuries.

Here is what I learned tonight. Drew made an absolutely terrible decision at the wrong time.

Here is what else I learned- this team can beat any team in this league when healthy. Anyone

It shouldn't have been in his hands in that situation.

Hell, if SP had called more runs throughout the game?
It's highly unlikely that we would have been tied that late anyway.

Drew did screw the pooch though.

Injuries so who is still the strength and conditioning Coach
Dan Dalrymple. He should of carpooled with Vitt out the door.

Problem was it wasn’t a jump ball. Hill ran a hook but fell back instead of keeping his ground. Had a great position but gave it up. If you have ever played the qb possession you know 75% of the throes are thrown to a spot. Drew threw it where hill vacated.

We don’t know if Ingram was even capable of being a workhorse back at the end there after the hit he took.

He should of been too, these guys are far too hurt or have lingering injuries, i kno every team has injuries but we seem to take the cake each year

Regardless, no pass should be thrown to Hill unless he's wide open. Drew's always had a playmaking TE he could count on making a play and taking one away from the defense until now. I think it may be our #1 priority in the draft but that's for a different day. That ball should not be going to Hill in that situation.

9 first downs from penalties is what cost us the game. That's gotta be some kinda record.

Penalties NO 11-87 ATL 4-35
I'll keep posting it all night.

However the penalties were mostly against our D, and yet they only allowed 20 points.

We got 0 points from 3 turnovers, offense screwed us.

We scored 7 points off 3 turnovers.
And the refs took 3 points off the board from the first turnover.
I know you're hell bent on blaming Brees and the offense. Get your facts straight first.

No need to get chippy with me, fact is - Offense lost this game. Brees and Payton specifically.

Definitely offense screwed us. Sean only came with his Kamara playbook today... Forgot we have a Michael thomas and Mark Ingram.

No one's getting chippy.
You keep saying we scored 0 points off of 3 turnvers and that's simply not true.

Luckily we have the jets at home in 10 Days. AK will be backed it’s the jets. 10-4 with the falcons coming to the dome. Then we have the bucs. We win out or at the least 2-1. That’s 11 wins and a div championship

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

We need a true DT/NT that can eat up some space and take on double teams we were getting gashed in the run game. I also find it hard to believe Falcons only comitted 4 penalties to our 11 ..I truly do those Reds were A$$ as well CAN NOT let them off the hook.

Number one concern should be getting healthy

I intentionally stayed off the boards last night so that my bad mood wouldn't permeate the conversation. We looked sloppy from the get go and our players started dropping like flies. I couldn't get drunk enough last night.

We have several days to rest now so maybe we'll get a few players back. But.......damn I hate Thursday night football. It's too damn dangerous. :bang:
